It's been cold, rainy and windy here in the Comox Valley the past few days and my family has decided this afternoon is going to be a lazy, stay in our pj's kind of day. Jackson and Carter were playing by the patio door behind the curtains when I joined them to play with my Camera. Carter decided he wasn't into photos today but Jackson was loving it! I am the most passionate about lifestyle photography. I enjoy capturing everyday life and find that children really show themselves to you when you let them relax in their own environment. To add, the natural light from large windows and the contrast of the darker room gives way to beautiful shadows and drama. Also, I resisted the urge to tidy my house before I took theses photos, but this is my life. I have a 1 year old and 4 year old son, my house is messy a large majority of the time!
